Abstract
The overall objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of disability inclusion laws in school inclusion cases. This article was developed using a deductive approach. It begins with a concise examination of the legal framework governing the educational rights of individuals with disabilities, tracing its evolution from the Constitution of the Empire of Brazil of 1824 to Law 13.146/2015, recognized as the Statute of Persons with Disabilities. Employing bibliographic research techniques, this study incorporates consultations of scientific articles, books, monographs, dissertations, and theses, with the aim of understanding the progression of legislation relevant to education. The advancement of laws regarding disability inclusion represents a crucial progression toward creating a more equitable society. By articulating the concept of disability inclusion and establishing essential legislative frameworks, these laws have evolved over time to address the distinct challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. The rights and protections codified within these regulations. Laws related to employment, accessibility mandates, and anti-discrimination measures are essential to ensuring that individuals with disabilities can fully engage in all aspects of life. Furthermore, the impact of inclusion laws extends beyond individual benefits; they also produce economic benefits and help reshape public perceptions by fostering awareness and understanding. As society increasingly values diversity and inclusion, it is vital to defend and enhance these laws, ensuring that the rights of individuals with disabilities are not only recognized but vigorously defended.
