Resumo
O bioestimulador de colágeno é um dos métodos mais procurados para melhorar a estética facial, permitindo a restauração de volumes e contornos perdidos na face com o passar dos anos. A hidroxiapatita de cálcio é um bioestimulador de colágeno injetável que estimula a produção endógena de colágeno através da ativação dos fibroblastos para a produção de novas fibras colágenas. Com base na relevância da CaHA no mercado estético atual, o objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar a eficácia e segurança do bioestimulador de colágeno, Biocrystal do laboratório Biometil, na melhoria da qualidade da pele após injeção subcutânea. Nesse estudo foram tratadas 12 mulheres utilizando a técnica L invertido e a avaliação foi realizada pelas próprias pacientes utilizando a escala GAIS. Os resultados mostraram que a grande maioria das pacientes classificou de maneira positiva a melhoria da qualidade da pele (escala 2 de GAIS), porém foram relatados efeitos adversos, principalmente nos 3 primeiros dias. O produto Biocrystal da Biometil parece ter efeitos na melhoria da qualidade de pele, porém mais estudos são necessários para comprovar sua eficácia e segurança.
