Geriatrics and Gerontology: a look at the health of the elderly

Abstract

This section is intended to give visibility to researchers in the Latin American region through the publication of authorial works and works organized by teachers and researchers from this region, in order to address various related topics and show the great thematic and cultural variety of the countries that make up to Latin America. This organized work is fundamental, because it touches on essential issues related to the health of the elderly, bringing important and necessary themes to build effective public policies for the quality of life of the elderly. Thus, based on current and recurring themes, the reader will have the chance to delve deeper and grow in knowledge through the research produced.
