THE CONTRIBUTION OF PSYCHOLOGY TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MENTAL HEALTH OF WORKERS AT THE CAICÓ-RN CLINIC CENTER: DR. GERSON FEITOSA

Abstract

The work presented aims to present the FCST University Extension Project: the Faculty goes to the Fair, with the title: “The Contribution of Psychology to the Development of Mental Health of Workers at the Clinical Center of Caicó-RN: DR. Gerson Feitosa”, developed by students of the 5th Period of the Psychology Course. The development of the extension project is a theme whose relevance involves all the health sector, the choice of theme was influenced by the alarming psychological illness of professionals. In this way, in addition to providing knowledge, it will serve to prevent illness of the mind in hospital settings, also benefiting the theoretical knowledge of the population in order to promote awareness of what can be caused without prevention, remembering that it can be followed up via consultations with psychologists and medical treatments with psychiatrists if the diagnosis is too severe.
