EDUCATION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN MILITARY INSTITUTIONS:: AN ANALYSIS FROM A METHODOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

The term militarized institutions relates to organizations aiming purposes achieved by socialization of its agents through discipline and hierarchy. In dictatorial period, these institutions maintained political ideology that legitimized the use of violence by the state against opponents of the tax system. In the current situation, the problems linked to the military police action entails the search for awareness of these professionals to act on the basis of respect for human dignity and citizenship of people who should have the Public Safety a well tutored by the state. Thus, we believe a metamorphosis of training to provide the internalization of values ​​related to human rights of action for change in the social environment process.
