Abstract

Based on ANEEL Normative Resolution REN 687/2015 which reformulated REN nº 482/2012 and section 3.7 of Module 3 of the Electricity Distribution Procedures in the National Electric System – PRODIST. This work presents the academic community with an overview of the need to seek new alternatives for the production of electricity for the population of the municipality of Ji-Paraná. Considering an ever-growing consumer market, the municipality located in the state of Rondônia, as in other units of the federation, has electricity supplied by a concessionaire that has generation sources in most of the hydroelectric plants and also has some thermal generators. However, as it is in the public domain, for these energy generations there is a need for large undertakings and values from the public authorities for their realization, in addition, currently the country is experiencing a large deficit in the production of electric energy. In this way, the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) developed regulations that regulate a sector that has the function of promoting the implementation of new alternatives for electric energy generation, which are the Mini-Generations and Micro-Generations of Electricity. Thus, as an alternative to improve the consumption of electricity by the municipality, some examples of consumers who chose to make use of electricity generation through photovoltaic energy sources and have a recorded consumption of approximately one year will be presented through this work. economic and environmental effects after the same period in which these consumers opted for renewable generation. However, it is expected through this work mainly the awareness of the population in using the electrical energy produced in a sustainable, clean and safe way for themselves and future generations.
