Abstract
Supervised internships are a fundamental component of professional education, providing students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. This report aims to describe the activities developed during the Supervised Internship II, within the research field of Public School Management, linking practice with theoretical content. The internship took place at the secretariat of the Escola Estadual Tereza Teodoro de Oliveira, located in Caroebe, Roraima, from November 21 to 30, 2024, totaling 60 hours. The school secretariat is considered the administrative core of the institution, responsible for managing documentation and facilitating initial contact with the community. Its proper functioning is crucial for the organization of the educational institution. The profession of school secretary, regulated by Law 7.377/1989, requires specific competencies for managing and recording the academic life of students and staff. Throughout the internship, it was possible to understand the importance of this role and its impact on institutional operations. Activities included organizing files, drafting school documents, public service, and observing administrative processes. The experience provided the intern with a deeper understanding of the daily administrative routine, highlighting the importance of process systematization and compliance with legal regulations. It was concluded that the internship significantly contributes to the development of professional identity, helping students to define their area of expertise and develop essential skills for the job market..
