Abstract
The outstanding importance in Pediatric Anamnesis is due to the fact that obtaining information is almost exclusively obtained through the mother, another family member or guardian, and may even be the nanny, a neighbor and the like. Parents – or grandparents, especially – tend to interpret children's manifestations, instead of obviously and objectively reporting only, which may interfere with or induce the diagnosis. Another important characteristic is that, in fact, this anamnesis needs to be totally directed, and there cannot be the possibility for the child to spontaneously report their complaints. During clinical research, the physician must be careful to observe the behavior of the person responsible for the child, in order to understand and surprise their psychological traits. The relationship with the mother – or guardian – is an essential and integral part of the child's clinical examination.
